How to find cause of server freeze (Win 2003 R2)

Both of my Citrix servers (PS 4.5 on Win 2003 R2 32bit on Hyper-V on 2008R2 on IBM blade) occasionally freeze to the point of having to cold reset them. It happens at different times of a working day, random days. Very rarely do they freeze on the same day.
I'd like to find out why.
I haven't been successful in gleaning anything from event logs.
I've read of reading into the memory dump file, but I wasn't able to master that.
Is there a simpler tool to read out the cause for a server failure, or an easy guide for reading the memory dumps on 2003 Server?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
